New Things!

My first blog. Not entirely sure what a blog is, but here goes. I'm getting busy. It's going to be a busy year!

I'm going in for minor surgery soon & will need to take some time off from the day job, which means I've be tragically stuck at home with musical instruments & jewellery tools. For me this is paradise!

So, some new things are on the horizon. I've got a couple of jewellery commissions come in & have a few new tunes to showcase at coming gigs. Sadly, due to the surgery, I have had to pull out of Stourjam on 1st June, which I was really looking forward to. The organisers are great & Fedora's is such a fun little venue to perform in!

I've started working on some tracks to make the solo shows a but more interesting, so I'm hard at it on the recording side & will have some great material to show off when my gigging schedule resumes in July.

Having only moved to Herefordshire in September, I'm due to be performing at some new (to me) venues in the coming months, as well as saying hello to some old friends.

Speaking of old friends, Woo Fest is coming up on 3rd/4th July, raising much needed funds for St Richard's Hospice. I'll be performing on the Friday night, but the whole event is definitely worth attending & supporting. Having worked in palliative care for many years, I can't stress enough how wonderful these people are! Even if you can't attend, please go to their website & donate. It really does make a difference!
